2022 is officially over, and 2023 is here for the next 365 days. What will 2023 hold for us? That is always the question. One thing is for sure life is fluid and ever-changing and to be able to predict genuinely is impossible. Self How much can life change in just one year -- to recap for me;
- I've managed to change jobs, be laid off from a new job after 90 days, and find another job.
- I have overcome a significant medical situation and was doing great until a change in Insurance delayed treatment for three months, but things have turned around again.
- I have lost my Father, a man I talked with almost daily. Who were my best friend and my biggest supporter no matter what? I miss him so much. To be able to speak to and hug him would be great.
- Because my Dad's passing allowed me to do something I never thought would happen, I moved across the country and bought a new house.
Pretty significant changes in just a year. Therefore, for 2023, a quiet year would be nice. Simple, not too much drama or life events would be perfect. I would love that, but as I reflect back to 2022, I feel that 2022 was going to be the year-- it was a year of change. They say change is good, and I firmly believe that without it, how do we grow and move forward? So, let 2023 be a year of continued change, but hopefully smaller events. What I do know is this, what 2023 is like right now will not be what it is at the end of 2023. Let's embrace the change, our choices, and challenges and make the most of 2023, no matter what happens, because we will get through it. We always do.
